Jamestown Studio

During the summer and fall of 2020, I was busy renovating a studio space in the village section of Jamestown, RI. The studio is in an older home along Jamestown’s North Road. The house was originally built in 1890 and served Jamestown for the previous twenty years or so as a hair and beauty salon. The renovation included ripping out a 1970’s hung ceiling and multiple hair washing sinks. Several coats of paint were needed to cover the blood red and black interior, but I’m pleased with the result.

With the pandemic conditions over the past year, not many people have seen this space, but I’m hoping to be able to open the studio to visitors this summer or fall.
